Attending weddings is a lot of fun

This year is a celebratory year. Not that time I just came home with the exciting news: "Attend your cousin's wedding on Saturday!" Saturday morning, a few loud rooster crows dragged me out of my sweet slumber. I got dressed as quickly as I could, wiped my face with a wet hand towel, and got on my motorcycle like a speeding arrow to my uncle's house, not caring to take a bite of rice and get a drop of water in the corner of my mouth.

After playing at my uncle's house for a while, it was already noon. I was anxiously waiting for the wedding car, and from time to time I looked back and forth towards the route of the car, and I really felt like I was looking forward to the wedding. The wedding car finally came into view in the eyes of everyone's anticipation. I was so happy that I jumped three feet high and clapped my hands. I never thought that waiting would be a joy! Two strings of firecrackers boomed in the crowd noise "car siren", deafening. The younger children had already covered their ears tightly, but I was on the sidelines pointing and laughing at those naive and childish children.

The wedding ceremony was held amidst the cheers of the crowd. The officiant announced with a smile on his face: "One worship in heaven!" In an instant, only the ribbons were seen flying. Red, yellow, blue, purple ...... with people's wishes and blessings, intertwined, intersected, gently and softly enveloped them. I saw my aunt and uncle's faces were happy, and I was too happy to say anything. "Second worship of the High Hall - the couple worship each other!" In the mellow voice of the host, everyone embraced and squeezed into the bridal chamber ......

After a short while, everyone joked and laughed as they entered the table. A few cups of tea later, full of melon seeds, sweet sugar balls were served. One uncle just took the plate and put it on the table, another grandfather wanted to pour the melon seeds and sugar balls in front of me, and I gratefully excused myself repeatedly and refused to take them. I thought, "I must not eat the penalty for not eating the wine." So, I politely accepted. In a short while, the steaming meal came one after another, and everyone was making noise while eating the food, everything was so quiet and beautiful, everything was infused in the fragrance and luster of life.

After the passing of the years, in my memory every time I attended a wedding, the scene of cheering and excited me, a phrase: "peach blossom pond water is a thousand feet deep, not as happy as attending a wedding."
